Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao meets Professor Klaus Schwab,the Executive Chairman of World Economic Forum

Honorable Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao had a meeting  with  Professor  Klaus  Schwab, the Executive C hairman of W orld  E conomic  F orum (WEF) this morning   at  t he Annual Meeting of the New Champions at Dalian in China, the foremost global business gathering in Asia, which is known as the “Summer Davos.”  Professor Schwab is the Founder and Chairman of the World Economic Forum, an independent, not-for-profit committed to improving the state of the world.  They both  had discussions for  about  30 minutes. Among others, CM had requested  Klaus Schwab  to host WEF annual conference in Hyderabad for which  there was a positive response from him . AP to achieve 100% literacy rate for SHG women by 2019

Taking the Pedarikam Pai Gelupu campaign forward, the Government of Andhra Pradesh will flag off “Women Empowerment Tour (Mahila Sadhkaratha Yatra)” from October 2 nd , highlighting the success of women empowerment programs through DWCRA women in the state. On the other hand, the state government has set itself a target of 100% literacy among 80 lakh SHG groups by 2019 with a corpus fund of Rs.14,000 crore.  “Every household that has an income of less than Rs. 5,000 should be increased to at least Rs.10,000 per family,” Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said, in a review meeting with SERP officials today in Vijayawada. Currently, 46% of DWCRA women in the state are literates. However, to make them competent and build their capacities, the government will hold literacy and computer literacy programs with a standard exam, based on their education levels. “ALIGN PRIORITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT THROUGH CONVERGENCE APPROACH” KTR

01 September 2015, Hyderabad : Confederation of Indian Industry had its First Meeting of CII National Committee on Backward District Development here today.
