Information Technology Minister Sri K. T. Rama Rao invited noted training institute NIIT’s hairman Sri Rajendra Singh Pawar to partner in the Digital/Computer education to government schools in Telangana. The Minister explained various IT initiatives undertaken by the Telangana government. Sri Rajendra Singh, who is also leading the NASSCOM’s Cyber Security Task Force, appreciated the efforts of government in this regard. The Minister informed that the State government has been in talks with Carnegie Mellon University for conducting research in cyber security issues and is planning to introduce special courses in Telangana universities on the subject.
