Lok Sabha Speaker to attend Common Wealth Speakers Conference

Lok Sabha Speaker and Central Ministers invited for Common Wealth Speakers Conference to be held at Visakha – Dr. Kodela Sivaprasad  Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker, Dr. Kodela Sivaprasad met Union Rural Development Minister Shri Chowdary Birendra Singh today morning and given a laptop presentation on implementation of “Swatch Bharat Abhiyan” programme in Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh.  Later he went to Parliament to meet Speaker, Lok Sabha, Smt. Sumitra Mahajan and Union Minister for Urban Development & Parliamentary Affairs, Sri M. Venkaiah Naidu.    During the Press Conference Speaker, APLA., told the media Common Wealth Speakers Conference will be held at Visakhapatnam from 3rd to 5th January, 2015 for 3 days in which media and legal related aspects are to be discussed, for this he sought the advise and suggestions of Speaker, Lok Sabha and Parliamentary Affairs Minister to suggest luminaries who are well-versed with legal and media aspects.   Speaker, Sri Kodela also invited Speaker, Lok Sabha, Smt. Sumitra Mahajan and Union Minister for Urban Development & Parliamentary Affairs, Sri M. Venkaiah Naidu.    With the inspiration given by the Prime Minister, Sri Narendra Modi for ‘Swatch Bharat’ and A.P. Chief Minister, Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu call for ‘Swatch Andhra Pradesh’ the message of Rural Sanitation Health and Hygiene are being propagated in the state, he said.  With the proper direction and perfect propagation plan the idea of individual latrines have been induced in to the minds of the people and in Sattenapalli Constituency 20,000 individual sanitary latrines with bath room facility have been created within record time of 45 days.  With this act of constructing individual latrines Sattenapalli stood top in the country.  He also mentioned that the above ministers and speaker are invited to Sattenapalli for inauguration programme.    Later on Speaker, APLA met Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman, MoS Commerce and Industries in the evening.    During these meetings Parliament Member, Sri Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, Special Representative, Govt. of AP., Sri Kambhampati Rama Mohana Rao Guntur Collector, Sri Kantilal Dande and others are with the Speaker, APLA.  -- Kiran Kumar.
