EXPEDITE THE CREATION OF TELANGANA HIGH COURT: Telangana CM KCR


Honorable CM KCR met with Mr. Ravishankar Prasad, Union Minister for Communication & Law. They discussed about the creation of separate High Court for Telangana. Mr. Ravishankar Prasad assured CM to pursue the matter. The Union Minister reminded the CM KCR that, he already discussed the issue with the Chief Justice of India. He further stated that, the process will be expedited once new CJI would take charge. Mr. Ravishankar Prasad said that, he will also pursue the matter in the Legal department also.
Telangana CM KCR had also met with the President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukharjee. KCR requested the President to intervene in to the issue of creation of High Court for Telangana for speedy action.
CM KCR had also invited the President Pranab to International Mayors Conference (Metro Polis) to be held in Hyderabad in 1st week of October.
