PRATYUSH SINHA COMMITTEE TO MEET BY NEXT WEEK


A meeting of Principal Secretaries of General Administration department of all states was held in PMO, South Block, New Delhi. The meeting was led by Mr Jitender Singh, Minister for State, DoPT. Mr. Ajay Misra, Prl. Secy, GAD had attended the meeting on behalf of Govt of Telangana. He asked the DoPT on behalf of the Govt to finish the Cadre allocation process as early as possible to run a smooth administration.
Reliable sources said that, "the Pratyush Sinha Committee constituted to bifurcate AIS officers would meet once again by the next week in New Delhi." Later the file would be sent to the Prime Minister for his Sign. Then the final allocation will be completed. The whole process may takes another 10 to 15 days, sources said, after coming out from the meeting.
An elaborated & huge list of agenda was there before the DoPT regarding to administration of States. Almost all issues mentioned in Agenda were discussed in the meeting. Though it was a regular meeting, the issues related to AIS officers Cadre allocation for both TS & AP, the topic regarding inter state Cadre transfers & deputation were thrown focus on TS Govt's request. The PMO affairs Minister for state Mr. Jitender Singh had given time to address the issues of both Telangana & Chathisghad states as mentioned in Agenda.
The DoPT hasn't pursued the request far worded by Mr Gopal Reddy, a 1985 batch IAS officer allotted to Madhya Pradesh Cadre, willing to come to Telangana. The file is pending with Ministry of Home Affairs. There was a speculation earlier about Mr. Gopal Reddy that, he would be brought as the Principal Secretary to the Telangana CM. But Later, CM KCR had opted Mr. Narsinga Rao, the then CMD, Singareni.
The DoPT suggested both the Telangana & AP Governments to re send proposals pertaining to the Conferred IAS promotees of 2012 batch Group 1 officers, as it was abruptly stopped due to AP state bifurcation.
