Andhra Pradesh government has decided to simplify revenue laws


Turning a new leaf in the history of revenue department, the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to simplify revenue laws and scrap archaic ones.

In a meeting with the revenue department officials at Secretariat today, Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to simplify revenue laws by April 15, 2015.
Further, the Chief Minister has ordered that GO Ms 398 be kept in abeyance, adding that the mutations and all other land records be updated online.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister was informed that currently there are 420 surveyors and 4,000 youth will be trained for 3 months. 
The CM suggested that 10,600 VROs could undergo training if they were willing to. Else, he suggested, that people be outsourced for surveying and be provided certificates for training.
The Chief Minister directed officials to come up with scientific ways to bring changes in the revenue system.  
Among the cleared titles, the CM was informed that 94% of them have been seeded with Aadhar. Of the 69.54 lakh revenue deeds, 74% have been seeded with Aadhar, he was informed.

Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishna Murthy, ministers Yanamla Ramakrishnudu and P. Narayana, Revenue principal secretaries Sharma, Ajay Kallam, Sambasiva Rao, SP Singh and other officials were present.
