Applications are invited for Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi

Applications are invited for grant of Rs.10.00 lakhs as financial assistance to SC students who are desirous of pursuing higher studies in professional courses like Medicine/Engineering/Pharmacy/ Nursing/ pure Sciences/ Humanities/Social studies, etc. in Foreign Universities  -  USA, UK, Australia, Canada & Singapore.

Eligibility:

·         Candidate should belong to SC community & should be native of State of Telangana.

·         Total family income should not exceedRs.2.00 lakhs per annum.

·         1st class marks in Graduation is compulsory for pursuing PG studies abroad.

·         1st class marks in PG is compulsory for pursuing Ph.D studies abroad.

Registration:

·         Interested students shall apply in http://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in
in  prescribed format along with documents. 

·         Registration will be closed on 17-12-2014.

The candidates are requested to attend for selections in the office of SC Development Department, 3rd Floor, DSS Bhavan, Masab Tank, Hyderabad on 22-12-2014 at 10:00 AM with all relevant original documents.

      The registered students shall be shortlisted for grant of scholarship by a State Level Selection Committee headed by the Principal Secretary, SC Development Department.  Full details of the scheme are available in G.O.Ms.No.54 SW(Edn.2), Dept., Dt.28-6-2013 which is available in e-pass website home page.
