Arab investors showed tremendous interest in investing in Telangana-KT Ramarao

Minister for IT Mr. K.T. Rama Rao accompanied by Mr. Pradeep Chandra and Mr. Jayesh Ranjan of Industries Department, Government of Telangana and a delegation organized by FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) lead by Mr. Arun Chawla, conducted an “Investors Meet” at Hotel Crowne Plaza in Dubai on 14th December, 2014 . The meet was well attended by over 100 investors in Dubai.

The new industrial policy was explained in the meeting. The special advantages like abundant land availability, fast track clearances, additional incentives, etc. that are offered in Telangana were discussed in detail.

Many of the investors showed tremendous interest in investing in Telangana State. Most of them have interest in sectors like Textiles, Food processing, mineral based industries, bio-technology and other general engineering. A few investors have also shown interest in infrastructure development in industrial parks and industrial townships.

The investors meet was organized by FICCI with the cooperation of India Business and Professional Council (IBPC), Dubai and Consulate of India in Dubai. Also the other members present on the occasion were Mr. Paras Shahdadpuri, President, IBPC and Ms. Anitha Nandhini, Consul Commerce from The Indian Consulate, Dubai.
