online Banking Services for Municipal Corporations and Municipalities

Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, Telangana Government, Hyderabad, has invited Expression of Interest (EoI) from Public Sector Banks in the State to participate to provide online Banking Services for Municipal Corporations and Municipalities, such as Online Payment Gateway, EDC (Electronic Data Capture) Machines and Handheld Machines, to collect property tax and water charges through Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card. State Bank of India and State Bank of Hyderabad have participated in the bid and State Bank of Hyderabad, has been shortlisted as the lowest agency. Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy, IAS, Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, has held discussions with the officials of SBH today in his office and finalised the bid to entrust the contract to SBH to provide the following services to Municipal Corporation and Municipalities in the State: 1.Online payment of taxes through C&DMA website (www.cdma.gov.in) through Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card 2.Through EDC machines at ULB counters through Credit Card & Debit Card 3.Door-to-door collection through Handheld machines by Bill Collectors Officials of SBH have thanked the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, for the decision taken by the department to entrust the banking services to the Bank and assured to commence the services within a short period.
