PRATYUSH SINHA COMMITTEE TO MEET TODAY

The Pratyush Sinha Committee constituted to bifurcate All India Services officers to meet on 19.01.15 (Today) in New Delhi. Chief Secretaries of both AP & Telangana will attend the meeting to discuss on change of Cadre requests submitted by AIS officers allotted to both states.

Last date for submission of request to change the Cadre has ended on 10.01.15 (Saturday). There are a total of 50 AIS officers from both Telangana & AP have requested Pratyush Sinha Committee to change their Cadre.

And some other have approached DoPT to change their Cadre to AP. The Govt of India will decide on Change of Cadre requests with in One month of last date of sending request.

A letter jointly signed by both the Chief Secretaries regarding retaining some officers has already been sent to the DoPT in the first week of January, 2015. The Govt of Telangana is asking to retain a total 7 officers, among which 4 IAS, 2 IPS & 1 IFS.

Where as AP Govt has also asked to retain Five AIS officers.

Both Telangana & AP Govts have decided to send another list officers with a joint signature to the DoPT. They are going to ask to retain another four or five officers quoting their domicile experience for their respective states. Sources have denied to reveal the names AIS officers who were mentioned in 2nd list.

The Govt of India has asked to submit a detailed report on some officers who were requested to change their Cadre. CS Rajiv Sharma & some other officers on exercising on preparing the report as per Union Govt's order. Meanwhile, the Government of Telangana is also preparing a report on officers, whom it requested to retain Cadre.
