Government of Andhra Pradesh Tableau has presented Republic day tableau on the theme of Sankrathi sambaralu today at 66th Republic day parade held at New Delhi in perfect synthesis with colourfully decorated ‘Gangireddu’ with musicians either sides and ‘Garisalu’ granaries filled with paddy in front portion denotes the new harvest as mark of Sankranthi festival.

            And on the rear portion of the tableau shown a live model performing ‘Gopuja’ as marks this agrarian festival.  Kite festival with village background traditionally decorated house with ‘Rangolis’ and girls dancing around ‘Gobbemmalu’ is mid portion of the tableau to impress the spectators that they are witnessing Sankranthi festival. The traditional artists like ‘Harudasulu’ singing ‘Hari keertanas’ folk musicians like ‘Jangama Devaralu’ ‘Goravaiahlu’ ‘Budabukkalu’ ‘ and ladies carrying gobbemalu and the granary pots are shown either sides of the tableau with 26 traditional and classical artists to visualize colourful ‘SANKRANTHI SAMBARALU’ of Andhra Pradesh on the roads of National capital.
