Finish repair works for Godavari Pushkarams: CM



In order to make Godavari Pushkarams a reflection of Telugu culture and protect the cultural heritage, Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to make the program a celebration and a huge success.

He ordered officials to ensure that roads, sanitation, construction of ghats and restructuring of temples are done within the stipulated time.

He added that the government is providing Rs1,000 crore towards organizing and completing works related to Pushkarams. Of this, he said that Rs200 crore

The Chief Minister has directed officials to also repair all roads leading to Rajahmundry and also immediately revamp the Rajahmundry airport.

He suggested officials to study the blueprint from the last Pushkarams and implement this as planned. 

He added that the last Pushakarams, which happened 12 years ago, was a huge success.
