Issues were brought to the notice of the ministers such as Out of (42) Entrepreneurs (15) Entrepreneurs (including (10) Powerloom Units) started commercial production so far. But out of (10) Powerlooms units only (2) units are working and remaining (8) units became defunct.Out of remaining (9) units, Civil works completed and Machinery to be erected in case of (5) units and civil works in progress in case of (4) units.
In case of (18) non started TSIIC issued notices to entrepreneurs to start the units. Action will be taken for cancellation of allotments and to allot the same to potential investors who come forward to start the units in the Park.
As per the complaints received from the units holders who are running units in the Park some unauthorized/unidentified persons are entering the Textile Park premises as such the workers/unit holders feeling insecurity about their stocks and other valuables. There is need to erection of a gate at the other end of the Park. Around 12 units compound wall was constructed but no work is being executed in the same.
The IALA officials of Pashamylaram collecting Tax from the stake holders/allottees after completion of one year of approval of Plans/ issue of permission for construction. The stake holders requesting for collection of tax only after completion of Civil Works of factory building instead collecting after one (1) year of approval of Plans permission by IALA authorities.
Minister Directed the officials to complete the ETP which may take around 12-16 months and to complete the infrastructure and cancellation and reallotment of plots where old ones were not started.
It was felt to post a senior officer for monitoring the place. Regarding works the TSIIC would come up with best solutions and a time line will be fixed. Secretary Industries will review in two weeks to the grievances and would put up Total action plan latest by 21 August 2015.
