HYDERABAD PRESSCLUB BECOMES ATONOMOUS

Press club of Hyderabad Broke its bonded chains of sponsorship from APUWJ.,and became an autonomous institution.
The President of club and the chairperson of general body Ravikanth raddy along with his office bearers announced that 'all amendments which moved are carried.' and 'ayes have it'. The members of the club attended here on sunday expressed joy over the passing  historical amendments in special general body meeting. The sgb executed with full crowd in the premises of press club,remained an historical' said kranthi kiron general secretary tuwj. "from Today onward hpc members can enjoy their freedom of autonomous status" he added. "The club is now sculler' in its nature..after delinting from its affiliation from apuwj" said Ramesh Hazari,a club member. The Freed journalist community from the sponsorship of an union expressed their pleasure and the general body approved all amandements including enhancing membership upto 1500,membership to Delhi journalists,etc

The exercise practiced by the traditional union members to maintain status quo..resulted futile. The blackmailing tactics of the apuwj leaders with their over dominance during the gb meeting proved unlawfull where majority members rejected their proposals.

Palle Ravikumar vice president tuwj made an appeal and urged the members to unite as journalist' irrespective of one's union affiliations..in the press club premises.
The demand to continue sponsorship to club by apuwj,even after telangana formation, is not only logic and also illegal" criticized,tuwj prez press academy chairman allam narayana.The general body meeting started at morning 11am exchanged heat over the arguments statements made by either side members and closed by 5pm with happy ending.
