KTR participated platinum jubilee celebrations of Raja Bahadur Sir Bansilal Balika Vidyalaya

The platinum jubilee celebrations of Raja Bahadur Sir Bansilal Balika Vidyalaya , located at Begum bazar, Hyderabad are being held at its premises on 4th November, 2015 at 12.30 hours. 

Raja  Bahadur Sir Bansilal Balika Vidyalaya was established before independence in 1940 by Late Shri Pannalal ji Pitti as per the wishes of Late Shri Raja Bahadur Sir Bansilal with the pious & noble aim of empowering women thru education. 

In 1945 the school was upgraded to a High School with a total of 257 students which was a great achievement in those times. 

In those days the Board exam was not being conducted in Hindi medium in the State of Hyderabad. Students who were young girls had travel all the way to Nagpur just to write their exams in Hindi.  Thereafter the Vidyavinodini exam of Prayag University was recognised by Osmania University and consequently our school was made the centre for writing Board Exam in Hindi in . Thus the young girls were spared the trouble of traveling just to write their exams. 

With the steady rise in number of students the school started functioning in two shifts from 1963 by adding another 20 classes. 

The students are being imparted education as per 1969 Education Policy of the State of Andhra Pradesh. 

On 6th February 1970  Raja Bahadur Sir Bansilal Balika Junior College was started which was inaugurated by the then Governor of the State of Gujarat Shri Sriman Narayana. 

On 13th September 1991 Sri Pannalal Pitti Smarak Kala Va Vanijya Mahila Maha Vidyalay was also setup in the same premises. 

The institution gives importance extracurricular activities which are practical and useful in life and society these include Student Council, Science Club, the social union, the National cadets corps, the book fund, promotion of Hindi, creative arts & crafts, the alumni associations, etc. 

The institution also has a modern library which has approximately 15,000 books. 

Raja Bahadur Sir Bansilal Dharmarth Trust is running all the three institutions, i.e. The School, The Junior College and The Degree Collage. A total of over 800 students are studying in these. 

After the demise of the founder Chairman and Managing Trustee Shri Pannalalji Pitti, his son Late Shri Badrivishalji Pitti became the Chairman and Managing Trustee in 1987. In the year 2003 Shri Badrivishalji Pitti left for his heavenly abode and since then Shri Sharad B Pitti has been the Chairman and Managing Trustee. 

As per a press note issued by the Chairman and Managing Trustee Shri Sharad B Pitti, Honourable Shri Naini Narsimaha Reddy, Home Minister of the State of Telangana has consented to preside over  the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of Raja Bahadur Sir Bansilal Balika Vidyalay. The Honourable Shri Tarak Rama Rao, Minister for Panchati Raj and Information Technology is gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. Shri T Raja Singh Lodh, MLA from Goshamahal is the Guest of Honour
